PARK RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
The following are the rules and code of conduct for the park. All attendees must abide buy these rules.
- Food or drink may be brought into the park. NO glass containers allowed.
- NO Running
- NO alcohol or illegal drugs may be brought into the park.
- NO loitering, unruly behavior, profanity, or line cutting allowed.
- NO cooking or warming food of any kind.
- NO personal flotation devices may be brought into the park.*
- Personal shade structures brought into the park must go into one of our 6 designated areas.
Personal Shade structures must not obstruct any paths or walkways impose upon other guest’s personal space. - NO AMPLIFIED AUDIO or TVs allowed in the park.
- Guests must refrain from using foul, profane offensive language or gestures.
- Guests must abide by posted attraction instructions, lifeguard & management instructions.
*Flotation devices designed and intended for use by babies/toddlers (ie: am floats, baby rings, etc) may be used in the kiddie pool and lazy river, but should never be mistaken as a life saving device. Non-swimmers are always encouraged to wear a life-vest
SAFETY
- Height and weight restrictions are posted for all attractions and enforced.
- Read safety signs and follow the directions of the lifeguards and park employees at all times.
- Children 12 and under are not permitted in the park without a supervising adult. Minors (under 16) should be accompanied by an adult. Park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
- Guests under 48″ or who are weak or non-swimmers should wear Coast Guard approved lifejackets where appropriate. In the wave pool, we suggest 42″ and under wear a lifejacket and be accompanied by an adult. We insist that parents keep their children within arms-reach for their close supervision on all water activities.
- Life jackets are provided at the park free of charge. Personal flotation devices brought into the allowed for use must carry the U.S. Coast Guard stamp of approval.
- Guests may not bring in inflatables such as rafts, swim rings or water wings.
- Diving is not permitted in any pool or attraction at the park.
- No running.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
- For guest safety and to ensure proper items are being brought inside the park, our staff at the main gate may inspect bags, totes and purses.
- The use of grills or any open flame on park property including the parking lot is prohibited.
- Island Waterpark is a smoke-free park accept in designated areas. See Park Map for locations.
- Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is only permitted in designated areas.
- Medical Marijuana is strictly prohibited in the park or in the parking lot.
- Island Waterpark is private property and does not allow:
- Firearms
- Weapons (including food prep knives)
- Glass containers
- Alcohol
- Radios/boom boxes, personal speakers
- Musical instruments
- Unauthorized floatation devices
RIDER RESTRICTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Fresno weather poses high heat conditions. Please visit the First Aid station at signs of heat exhaustion, including fatigue, nausea, headaches, confusion, and loss of consciousness, weakness, change in heartbeat, shortness of breath, clammy skin, dizziness, excessive thirst, confusion, anxiety or any other concern.
- All amusement rides are physical activities which pose inherit risks.
- Guests who do not comply with ride and park rules may be ejected from the park without refund.
- The park does not and cannot guarantee your health and you fully assume all risks of any ride or activity in which you choose to participate.
- If for any reason you feel you need help due to an injury or medical condition, immediately notify a park employee or lifeguard and ask for help.
- Any injuries sustained at the park must be reported on the day of incident.
DRESS CODE
All attendees must abide by the dress code listed below:
- Proper swimwear must be worn on all rides and attractions.
- Any child in diapers MUST wear a waterproof/swim diaper to enter the water. Swim diapers are available for purchase at Gift Shop.
- Inappropriate swimwear is NOT permitted and includes but is not limited to underwear, boxers, briefs; attire that is transparent or translucent in private areas; attire with exposed metal, rivets, buttons, zippers, buckles or snaps that could be abrasive to other swimmers and/or attractions; long pants, jeans, denim, slacks, and trousers; any clothing or accessory (e.g. belts, jewelry).
- Clothing should not offensively expose parts of the body, be transparent, or display indecent pictures and slogans.
- Clothing or tattoos with offensive language or graphics are not permitted – this includes profanity, pornography, graphic violence, drugs, gang symbols and the discrimination towards any race, religion or group.
GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
- If you, or a member of your group, have a particular disability or special need, we ask that you please contact the park’s Guest Services at least a day prior to your visit so that we can better assist you in preparing for your visit.
PARENTS & GUARDIANS
- Children 12 and under may not be at the park without adult supervision.
- The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
- Minors in violation of park rules may be ejected, detained or have their season pass revoked without refund.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- It is not permitted to take photographs of others who object, or violate another’s privacy, rights to publicity, or are considered harassing, stalking or threatening.
- Photos and recordings are strictly prohibited in bathrooms, changing rooms, and locker areas. Park management reserves the right to take away the camera or recorder and violators may be held for law enforcement and be subject to arrest and prosecution.
- Island Waterpark management reserves the right to stop picture taking or video recording and confiscate any inappropriate material.
- By entering the park, you have given Island Waterpark the right to videotape and take still photography images that may be used in marketing, advertising, news reporting, promotions and social media. All property ownership of such materials, and copyright in and to all such materials, shall belong exclusively to Island Waterpark in perpetuity, without any compensation or other consideration to any guest or other person in, on or around the park property.
ANIMALS
- If an animal is left in a car while patrons are inside the park, Animal Control will be contacted and may forcibly enter your vehicle in order to attend to the health or safety needs of the animal. You will be responsible to pay any costs involved with the rescue of a pet left in a car and may possibly face animal cruelty charges from local authorities.
- Animals of any kind are not allowed in the park
- Service Animals must remain on a leash, or in a harness, at all times. Due to the potential hazard to other Guests, Service Animals can NOT be accommodated on any ride or attraction. Service Animals are not permitted in any fountains, ponds, and/or pools. Service Animals are the responsibility of the owner and cannot be left unattended. Guests are responsible for cleaning up Service Animal waste and for controlling the Service Animal’s behavior. Team Members are not permitted to care for Service Animals.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: Yes, everyone entering the park must pay admission.
A: Yes but we do not allow glass, alcohol or knives so be sure to pre-cut your fruit and veggies and put your salsa and mayo in a plastic container.
A: No, souvenir cups are only able to be used the season they are purchased.
Due to various reasons including blocking the path of other guests, multiple guests tripping and injuring themselves, blocking sight lines of other guests and destroying the grass, we are now asking the cooperation from our valued guests to place your canopies in designated areas.
This includes but is not limited to canopies, pop ups, EZ Ups, tents, large umbrellas, etc. Those areas are basically on the perimeter of the park. We will provide you with a map of those areas and would be happy to assist you with any questions related to your canopy.
A: No, however you may bring in prepared food that does not require any BBQing, cooking or heating.
A: Yes, Coast Guard approved life jackets are acceptable. Any other personal flotation devices, surfboards, inner tubes, etc. are NOT ALLOWED. Arm floaties and infant rings are allowed (in Kids Key Largo Lagoon), however should not be mistaken as a life saving device.
A: Yes, we provide life jackets at the entrance to the Bondi Beach Wave Pool, the Waimea River and at Kids Key Largo Lagoon. They are complimentary and available on a first come first served basis .
A: For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, any child who is NOT potty trained is required to wear a swim diaper .
A: All guests that have entered the park and are planning on returning later that same day, are required to get a hand stamp at the front gate prior to leaving the park.
A: No, children 2 and younger are free!
